For each regulator inspected, photographs
are taken of the major components. Each photo is captioned to
describe the condition of the component. A sample of photos
for a site are shown below.
Looking down through manhole to the regulator
View of float wheel on transmission. Components are corroded and
in need of shop reconditioning or replacement. Transmission linkage
and bolting are stainless steel and in good condition.
View of float and hinge guide assembly. All equipment is in good
condition. Recommend minor cleaning and maintenance. Clear deposits
from chamber and telltale.
Actual number of photos taken during an inspection is determined
to best depict field conditions, unless specified otherwise.

Access manhole to regulator chamber
Looking up to manhole from regulator. Manhole steps are corroded.
This type, if corroded, can shear without warning. Recommend removal
and replacement.
View of gate wheel. Same conditions as float wheel.
View of regulator gate assembly which is in good condition. Some
cleaning and maintenance is required. Transmission linkage is in
good condition for reuse.
Diversion chamber behind regulator. Dam diverts the dry weather
flow through the regulator.
